”Regional Cinema Needs Encouragement”: Shah Rukh Khan
Bollywood’s Baadshah Shahrukh Khan said that Bollywood alone should not be treated as Indian cinema and many more regional languages need to be encouraged. Shah Rukh supported Maharashtra government’s decision to play Marathi movies in the 6p.m and 9p.m shows in multiplexes. The actor mentioned the need to encourage other regional languages like Bengali, Panjabi. “I have been residing in Maharashtra since the past 25 years and could not bear when someone says rude things about the place” said Shahrukh.
