Abdul Kalam’s Cremation in Rameswaram Tomorrow
The Union cabinet paid tributes to our former president, Sir APJ Abdul Kalam. Cabinet of ministers mourned over demise of the Missile Man. Kalam’s contribution to the nation was recollected. Cabinet has decided to cremate Kalam at his birthplace Rameswaram in Tamil nadu. The government has announced a seven-day state morning in honour of Abdul Kalam, who was known as the People’s President. It mourned that the motherland has lost its beloved child. The BJP parliamentary party that assembled in Delhi condoled Kalam’s demise. Leaders maintained 2 minutes of silence to mourn the death of such a great person. Party leader and MP Rajiv Pratap Rudy, speaking outside Parliament, said that BJP leaders like Amit Shah and Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar will take responsibility to ensure that the funeral of APJ Abdul Kalam is carried out according to protocol. He said that after the public pays homage to Kalam, his mortal remains will be sent to Rameswaram for cremation.
