Baahubali: Only ‘1 Minute’ Shot Per ‘Day’!!
Any movie(other than #Baahubali) on a regular basis comprises of 60 to 70 scenes that will generally be shot in 90 to 100 days. Also there are certain directors who shoot only 1 scene per day but Jakkanna is different in his own way. Rajamouli has been sculpting Baahubali since past 3 years. It has been 351 days since the shoot has started after pre-production. During this period Baahubali part-1 has totally been shot while Baahubali part-2 is nearing completion. The duration of a movie is generally 2 and a half hour ie., 150 minutes. Assuming Bahubali’s duration to be 3 hours and a two-month shoot after release of Bahubali-1, calculating the number of minutes shot per day in 400 days (351 days rounded to 360), it is observed that shoot has been carried out for 400 days to yield an output of 360minutes (both parts put together). The observation reveals that less that 1 minute duration in the movie is shot per day.
Jakkana’s utmost care and hardwork have not gone waste as Bahubali already earned profits to its producers. Even before announcement of release date of the movie itself, Baahubali got good sums. Satellite rights, tamil rights, hindi rights and distribution rights have all earned crores of rupees for the producers. Entire Indian film industry is on wait to watch the legendary flick. Just a few more hours for the wait to end.
