Bird Flu Alert in Telangana: Stay Away From ‘Chicken & Eggs’

High Alert has been issued in Hyderabad and surrounding areas as bird flu broke out in Telangana. GHMC warned people in its province not to consume chicken and eggs for four days inorder to avoid any health issues. Many hens have died of bird flu on the outskirts of Hyderabad. If a person intakes bird flu infected chicken, there is 100 percent chance of transmission of disease to that human. In a warning given by GHMC against eating chicken and eggs, it was mentioned that people residing in L.B. Nagar should be much more careful. Bird flu reportedly is observed more in Vanasthalipuram, Saheb nagar, Hayat nagar divisions. Orders have been passed that chicken and eggs are not to be sold in those areas for a few days.
