Chandrababu Meets Modi & Rajnath Singh
AP CM Chandrababu Naidu convened with PM Narendra Modi this morning. AP state division act, special status for AP, financial package, assistance from center, industrial development, Polavaram project, commitments given to people etc made contents of the meeting. CM Chandrababu reportedly requested Modi to help Ap that was left in financial crisis till it becomes strong financially. Minister Yanamala Rama Krishna, senior IAS officials P.V.Ramesh, Satish also accompanied the CM during the meeting.
Earlier, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh, Venkaiah Naidu and Chandrababu Naidu discussed current status of AP at Venkaiah’s residence. Issues like special status for AP and financial package were discussed. Ministers Venkaiah Naidu and Rajnath Singh addressed media after the meeting. Venkaiah said that being a telugu person, he would offer maximum support to Andhra Pradesh. Financial status of AP is stabilizing slowly, we will try to recover the loss incurred to the AP due to state division, he said. Venkaiah promised proper implementation of AP State Reorganization Act.
Minister Rajnath Singh told media persons that they will try to resolve issues persisting between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Once issues are solved, the Home Minister said both the states can concentrate on their own development.
