Chiranjeevi’s Remuneration for 150th Film?
Tollywood is waiting for the comeback of Megastar Chiranjeevi with his 150th film. Official Telugu remake of Tamil super hit film Kaththi has been confirmed by Chiranjeevi in which he will be directed by VV Vinayak. Vinayak and his team worked on required changes to be made to original script and improved the lead role so as to fit Chiranjeevi in it. The remake will be produced by Chiranjeevi ‘s son, mega powerstar Ram Charan jointly with Lyca Productions. He made an announcement regarding the same a long time ago. Now, there are many interesting reports on the remuneration being paid to Megastar Chiranjeevi for his 150th film. Reports from Chennai indicate that Ram Charan is paying as much as Rs. 30 Cr remuneration to his father for starring in his production. Kaththi Tamil movie was originally produced by Lyca Productions who will act as co-producers for Telugu remake of the film. Chiranjeevi took a break from appearing in films in 2007. During that time, megastar was the highest paid actor in Tollywood. Now, it is Mahesh Babu who is highest paid with remuneration not less than Rs. 25 crores.
