Delhi Government Bans Sale of Maggi
The central government has banned sale of Maggi noodles in supermarkets across the country. The news was revealed by central minister Ram Vilas Paswan. He said that entire details about the product will be collected and that the responsible will severely be punished. On the other hand, maggi noodles are being examined nationwide to determine the quality of the product. The Food Security and Standards Authority submitted report to central government in Delhi about the presence of lead and its levels in Maggi. The noodles have already been banned in Uttar Pradesh and Kerala. Delhi is also in the same page. The state banned sale of Maggi. States like Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Haryana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Punjab are in the process of examining the product samples. Nestle’s stock market shares have gone down badly as a result.
