Earthquake in North India
Earthquake occurred once again in the North Indian states like Chandigarh, Jaipur, Delhi and surrounding places. Frightened people ran out of their houses after tremors were felt. The quake occurred in North India, Pakistan and Afghanistan at 12:30 in the midnight and recorded magnitude of 6.2 on Richter scale. The quake originated in the border of Afghanistan, Tajakistan and Pakistan. Epicenter of the earthquake lied 203.5 km below the ground level, said American Geological Survey. Emergency was announced in various regions in Pakistan after tremors were felt. No loss of life or property was incurred. Repeated occurrence of earthquake in north India is giving shivers to people living in the region.
