Fight for Metro Rail Seat Kills Student
A quarrel that started between friends for metro rail seat killed a student named Ishu (16) in Delhi. North Delhi police said that the incident took place at around 1:00 PM. According to details provided by them, Ishu, along with two friends climbed down a metro rail and they were heading towards another metro station at Kingsway Camp. That was when five other teens aged 16 or 17 blocked them. They started argument over a fight that took place the previous day for metro rail seat.
The two groups are students of two different government schools. They yelled at each other. Meanwhile, one teenager from the group took a knife out and stabbed Ishu multiple times on various places on his body. As Ishu collapsed then and there, those teens ran away from the spot, said police. Local people got Ishu admitted at Hindu Rao Hospital. sPolice said that doctors declared Ishu dead on Wednesday night. Police have seized the knife using which Ishu was stabbed. Accused were presented to board under juvenile delinquency. They have been shifted to juvenile home for transformation, said officials. Ishu was studying 11th standard in Sarvodaya School in Kashmere Gate.
