Fire Opened in Louisiana Cinema Theatre Kills 3

A man opened fire inside a movie theater in a movie theatre in Lafayette, Louisiana on Thursday night, killing two people and injuring 7, before taking his own life. An unidentified armed man rushed into the movie theatre that was screening the film Trainwreck. He opened fire and started shooting randomly at the people in the theatre. The number of persons in the theatre at that time was around 100. While two died of gunshots, 7 others were injured. They were immediately shifted to a nearby hospital. Police officials who received information about the attack reached the spot immediately. A case was filed and investigation started. The attack took place 20 minutes after the movie began, said Clay Henry, Vice President of Operations for Acadian Ambulance. The details of the accused are yet to be known.
