Foundation for Amaravthi on 6th jun as AP State Capital
The Andhra Pradesh state government has fixed date for laying foundation stone for Amaravathi as the state’s capital. AP CM Chandrababu Naidu will lay foundation at 8:49 am on 6th june for building state capital. The AP government will be inviting PM Narendra Modi for the event. Plans are being made by government to start constructing the capital after Dussehra.
On the other hand, arrangements are being made to grandly commence Godavari pushkaralu in a grand manner. When Communications advisor of AP government, Parakala Prabhakar spoke to media, he said that the Maha Pushkarams that occur once in 144 years are very auspicious. He mentioned that Present of India, Pranab Mukherjee, PM Narendra Modi and Chief Ministers of all other states in India will be invited by CM Chandrababu Naidu. They are expecting that about 3.5 crore people will take a holy dip in river Godavari. Parakala Prabhakar said that the government will spend Rs. 1471 crores on Godavari pushkarams.
