Kanche Movie Review-ECG | Varun Tej | Krish
5 songs, 4 fights, a bakara, routine comedy..this is what telugu cinema is all about at present. But some directors are crossing the boundaries set up around telugu cinema and trying to narrate totally new concepts. Krish is one among them.
Kanche film features Varun Tej, Pragya Jaiswal in lead roles along with Nikitin Dheer in a prominent role.
Dhupaati Haribabu and Sita Devi belong to the same place. They fall in love while pursuing education in Madras (Chennai). Sita’s brother Eeshwar is against their love because Haribabu is from a barber family and Sita hails from a Zamindar family. During World War II, both Haribabu and Eeshwar get ready as soldiers to fight on behalf of Italy. Eeshwar is of a higher rank. Amidst the war, Haribabu’s team is to save some persons from German soldiers. How do they save them? What about Haribabu and Sita’s love? This makes the remaining part of the story.
Sita and Haribabu’s love track on one side and World War II on the other side..Krish mixed the two very well with an excellent screenplay. Varun Tej is great as Haribabu and performed well. Pragya Jaiswal as Sita, Nikitin Dheer as Eeshwar, Gollapudi as Haribabu’s grandfather, Shavukaru Janaki as Sita’s grandmother, Srinivas Avasarala as Haribabu’s soldier friend…every one of them fit in well in their charcaters.Three of Sirivennela’s songs are good. Dialogues by Burra Sai Madhav are amazing in some scenes. Background score by Chiranthan Bhatt is great. Cinematography by Gnanasekhar is wonderful. Producers Rajiv Reddy and Sai Baba spent however much is required for the film.
In one word…
Must watch movie for those who are thirsty to watch a good film.
