Keshava Reddy Educational Institutions Head Arrested
Keshava Reddy Educational Istitutions head Keshava Reddy was arrested by Kurnool CCS police midnight yesterday based on complaints filed by parents of students that he had collected deposits from them and is not returning them. Keshava Reddy had allegedly Rs.700 crore debt. He had collected an overall deposit of Rs.470 crore from parents of 1,100 students and 800 private persons, said Kurnool SP Ravi Krishna. Keshava Reddy on the other hand said that he has no intention to cheat anyone. He mentioned that he got financially crippled in the process of offering quality education to thousands of students in his institutions. If some more time is provided to him, Keshava Reddy said that he will clear the debts by selling his property.
