Mahesh gambles against Pawan Kalyan
Powerstar Pawan Kalyan and Superstar Mahesh Babu are two reigning stars of Telugu cinema. Both the actors are competing for the coveted chair and enjoy huge fan following. While Pawan proved his mettle with a slew of hits in the early years, Mahesh got an upper hand since Dookudu as the former has been struggling to deliver hits. Though, Pawan bounced back with Gabbar Singh and Attarintiki Daredi, Mahesh has scripted history with Srimanthudu. Once again, the stars are set to battle it out for the box office supremacy this April. Pawan Kalyan’s Sardaar Gabbar Singh (SGS) is slated for grand release on April 8, while Mahesh’s Brahmotsavam is slotted for release on April 29. Interestingly, the audio launch of Brahmotsavam was scheduled on April 8 clashing with the release of Sardar Gabbar Singh. It is learnt that producer Prasad V Potluri is the man behind this development as he shares a cold vibe with Pawan after he failed to get an MP ticket in 2014 polls. So, doubts are clouding over whether PVP-Mahesh has deliberately locked this date for the music launch of Brahmotsavam or it’s just a coincidence. Whatsoever, it’s interesting to see the celebrations of Brahmotsavam rolling out on the same night of SGS release.
