”Modi is Our Target”: Al Qaeda Releases Video
World’s deadliest terror outfit Al Qaeda mentioned Narendra Modi in their recently released video message. The video titled ‘From France to Bangladesh: The Dust Will Never Settle Down’ was released on 2nd may by Maulana Asim, the chief of Al Qaeda in the Indian Subcontinent (AQIS). Asim mentioned PM Modi in context of what he claims as the war against Muslims. He specified that Modi uttered ‘Muslims be burnt alive’. He said that his aim is to rage Jihad against India, bring about muslim rule and implement Sharia rules in the country. AQIS has also claimed responsibility for the assassination of several secular writers and intellectuals in Bangladesh and Pakistan. Indian officials have not much information about Asim Umar. Reports suggested that he is possibly of north Indian origin and had migrated to Pakistan in the nineties. Officials started inquiring about Asim Umar’s origin.
