Modi Launches 3 Schemes for Urban Development
PM Modi launched Smart Cities, Amruth, Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojan schemes today in Vignan Bhavan, Delhi. When Modi spoke at the event, he said that attractive cities will be developed during the next 100 days. Providing basic infrastructure to common man is the aim of our government, expressed the Prime Minister. Also he mentioned that there are about 2 crore homeless people in the country and expressed displeasure about those living in slums with no basic infrastructure. “Effective management of growing urbanisation is a major challenge in making of resurgent India. Resource management is a major challenge and our government sees an opportunity in this”, said Modi. It is due to lack of proper planning that electricity, water, drainage etc facilities are not in proper reach for people, explained Modi.
