Nalgonda Car Accident: Accused Escape After Hitting 2 Boys
Two children (brothers) who were crossing road in Nalgonda were hit by a car and suffered injuries. Accused assured them that they would admit them to a hospital. Two brothers Kompelli Ganesh (8) and Kompelli Siva Sai (10) lived in Kattangoor. Both of them were severely injured as a car driven by unknown persons travelling from Hyderabad to Vijayawada hit them while they were trying to cross the road. Ganesh suffered severe injuried on his head and Siva Sai was also badly injured. Those persons who committed the accident told the boys that they will admit them to a hospital for treatment. They started heading towards Narketpally. In the midst of their journey, the persons who realized that Ganesh died left both the boys near a government hospital in Velminedu village of Chityal Mandal and escaped.
Kompelli Janamma, mother of the two boys sobbed endlessly upon hearing the news. While her husband passed away 7 years ago, Janamma earned livelihood for her sons and herself through masonry. Ganesh was studying 4th std and Siva Sai, 6th, in a local school. Policemen reached the spot and shifted Siva Sai to Kamineni Hospital at Narketpally. They started searching for the car that hit the boys.
