Neelima Returns Home Safe from Everest
Neelima,an Everest mountaineer and a software engineer was brought down safe from the mountain by the Air Force. Then Rescue team sent her to Delhi. Neelima who spoke to media said that they were at an altitude of 4,700 km when quake occurred and the base camp that they were supposed to reach was totally destroyed. She said that they were lucky enough to be away from the zone where land slide took place. Neelima feels that if bad time is nearby, one would lose life wherever he is. She made clear that her interest of mountaineering Everest is not dead yet. She thanked the Indian Air Force personnel and government of AP for helping her. Neelima’s parents were also found to be very happy as their daughter returned safe. Neelima who along with a group of mountaineers went to climb Mount Everest was trapped there due to earthquake that occurred in Nepal which resulted in avalanche sweep on Mount Everest.
