Puri Jagannadh is the Tollywood director who is often busy with a handful films irrespective of whether his films are hits or flops and whether he chooses a star hero or a debutant. Apart from Telugu films, the dashing director also tested luck in Kannada and Hindi. However, he could not earn much craze for his films in other languages. Following his master Ram Gopal Varma who hails in Bollywood as well, Puri Jagannadh is planning to establish himself in B Town. As a part of this, Puri already narrated a line to Khalnayak Sanjay Dutt and got his acceptance to star in his direction. Sources say that Puri – Sanjay Dutt film will start off once the director is done with his upcoming Telugu film Rogue.
Puri Jagannadh has already directed two films in Hindi. He remade Pawan Kalyan ‘s Bhadri in Hindi with Tusshar Kapoor but the film did not do well. He then directed Big B Amitabh Bachchan in Buddha Hoga Tera Baap, which scored a hit in Bollywood. It is known that Puri has already committed to do two big Telugu films after Rogue. While one of them is with Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, the other one is with young tiger NTR. We have to wait to see whether Puri will begin either of these two films or go ahead with the Hindi one.
