Rana Missed Two Blockbusters Due to Baahubali
Along with Prabhas, Rana Daggubati has also equally dedicated two years in his career to Baahubali epic film. Rana allotted dates for the Hindi film Baby and Tamil remake of Malayalam film Bangalore Days based on free time in his Baahubali shoot schedule. While Rana did a supporting role in Baby, he is one among the three lead actors in Bangalore Days Tamil. So, he finished his role in both the films when he has breaks amidst his Baahubali dates. Since the actor could not allot bulk dates to any other project, he says that he missed two blockbuster films.
While Rana Daggubati was hooked with Baahubali, director Anil Ravipudi narrated to him the story of super hit film Pataas. Since Rana could not adjust dates due to Baahubali shoot, he declined the offer. That was when the director approached Kalyan Ram.
The second blockbuster that Rana missed is the Telugu remake of Tamil super hit film Thani Oruvan. He was the actor initially approached to play lead role in Thani Oruvan remake. Due to the same reason that he could not allot his dates in bulk, Rana could not accept the offer. Now, mega powerstar Ram Charan has grabbed the offer and will begin shooting for Telugu remake of Thani Oruvan in February.
So, Rana missed two blockbusters due to Baahubali. But the actor told his companions that he is not disappointed because Baahubali film earned him fame all around the country.
