Ravi Teja Next Shelved; Reason?
Dil Raju has recently teamed up with hero Ravi Teja for an upcoming film in the direction of Venu Sriram. The film was titled Yevado Okkadu. But all of a sudden, we hear the news that the film has been shelved. Now, according to a story published by a leading news daily, we learn that the real reason behind the project getting shelved is remuneration issue. Ravi Teja who really liked the subject had immediately signed the film but later he had differences with producer Dil Raju regarding his payment. Venu Sriram who made his debut with the film Oh My Friend worked for more than one year on the script and when Dil Raju decided to materialize it with Ravi Teja, the actor reportedly asked for a lot of money, which the producer refused to give. Dil Raju clarified to Ravi Teja that he would be paying him according to his current value as his recent starrer Kick 2 was an utter flop. After holding discussions for some time, both the parties were not satisfied with deal. As a result, the project Yevado Okadu has finally been shelved. Ravi Teja apparently asked for nearly Rs 8 crore, which Dil Raju felt was too high and offered around Rs 6 crore. Rumours in Telugu film nagar say that Dil Raju is getting script modified in order to suit Akkineni Nagarjuna. We have to wait some more days for a confirmation on it.
