Salman Khan Hit & Run Case Judgement Left him in Tears
Salman Khan who was present at the court to hear the verdict of his 2002 hit and run case remained silent during the hearing. When Mumbai session judge Deshpande asked if Salman had something to say, he denied charges and said that he was not driving the car when the accident took place. Salman was in tears when verdict was pronounced by the judge. After the court declaring Salman guilty, siblings Arbaaz Khan and Sohail Khan were seen with tears rolling down their eyes outside the court. Salman’s mother could not control her grief. Salman Khan’s lawyer requested the judge to not give a sentence of more than 3 years, considering the humanitarian work carried out by the actor. He mentioned that Salman helped in carrying out heart surgeries for about 600 children. He tried to explain to court about Salman’s cardiac issue. His lawyer reminded the judge that no accused had been sentenced for more than 3 years in an accident case in the past.
