Some Cities in The World Will Disappear!: NASA
The National Aeronautics & Space Administration (NASA) has revealed that some cities in the world will disappear in future. How could this happen? As per latest data from satellites, thick ice sheets in Antarctica and Greenland are melting faster than ever. Also, oceans are warming up and expanding rapidly. This will result in a rise of sea level by 1 meter (3 feet) during the next 100-200 years, which is inevitable, said NASA scientists. “More than 150 million people, most of them in Asia, live within 1 meter above present sea level. Low-lying cities and states are at risk of disappearing with the melting of polar ice caps. Major cities like Singapore and Tokyo are at risk. It may entirely eliminate Pacific island nations”, said Michael Freilich, director of Earth Sciences, NASA.
