Sundar Pichai: India-born New CEO of Google
One more Indian has reached high International standards. India-born Sundar Pichai is chosen the CEO of giant internet search engine Google’s new holding (parent) Alphabet. Google co-founder Larry Page officially announced the news about Sundar Pichai (43). Sergey Brin is heading the organization. A new company named Alphabet is being formed by Google that will serve as a holding company and directly own several companies owned by Google, including Google. Larry Page will serve as CEO of Alphabet and Sergey Brin will serve as its President. Since Larry Page will be heading parent company Alphabet, Sundar Pichai was named CEO of Google. Born in Chennai in 1972, Sundar Pichai earned his Bachelor of Engineering degree from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur (IIT Kharagpur). He holds an M.S. from Stanford University and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Pichai joined Google in 2004. He was previously appointed Product Chief by Larry Page in October, 2014 and is now announced the CEO of Google.
