Train Timings Changed by Railways
The Indian Railways has made changes to timings, halt stations of trains, their numbers etc. under South Central Railway region. Officials announced that the new time-table will be effective for one year from now. Changes made were released by railway officials on Wednesday.
AP Sampark Kranti Express between Tirupathi-Hazrat Nizamuddin will pass via Kachiguda without connecting to Secunderabad. Duranto Express travelling between Secunderabad-Tirupathi will from now halt in Vijayawada. Stoppage of Secunderabad-Mumbai Duranto Express will be at Pune. Yesvantpur-Delhi Sarai Rohilla Express will halt at Guntakkal and Secunderabad; Howrah-Yesvantpur Duranto Express will halt at Vijayawada, Renigunta; and Chennai-Hazrat Nizamuddin Express will halt at Vijayawada.
Padmavati Express between Secunderaqbad and Tirupathi that functions on Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday will now function on Tuesday and not Saturday.At the same time, Wednesday has been added and Sunday removed from schedules of trains travelling from Tirupathi. While those trains travelling from Secunderabad to Tirupathi via Pakala currently function on Tuesday and Wednesday, they will be operating on Wednesday and Saturday from now.
Numbers of trains between Secunderabad-Kurnool city, Tenali-Repalle Passenger, Tenali-Markapuram Road, Guntur-Tenali, Narsapur-Guntur-Tenali, Guntur-Macherla-Bhimavaram, Bhimavaram-Rajahmundry-Narasapur, Macherla-Nadikudi, Kachiguda-Guntur have been changed.
