VIRASAM Leader, Writer Chalasani Prasad is No More
Famous writer and VIRASAM leader Chalasani Prasad (83) died of cardiac arrest in his residence in Visakhapatnam. Chalasani pasad was a native of Bhatla Penumarru village in Krishna District. He was blessed with 2 daughters. Chalasani played active role in movements related to culture and literature. He was one among the founders of virasam. Chalasani who actively took part in communist turbulences went to jail during emergency. Sri Sri, Kodavatiganti, Ravi Sastry and others were his companions. Virasam leaders, writers, political leaders expressed grief on the death of Chalasani Prasad.
