Anushka out of Chiranjeevi 150th movie
The shooting of Megastar Chiranjeevi’s 150th film Kathilantodu will begin from June 6 in Hyderabad. Directed by VV Vinayak, the film is the remake of Kollywood blockbuster Kaththi. The makers have roped in Anushka Shetty for the female lead role and according to the latest buzz in the industry, the Arundhati actress has walked out of the project due to date issues. “Anushka wanted to do the film but her dates for Chiru’s film have clashed with her other films like Baahubali 2, Singham 3 and Bhagmati. As she already committed for these aforesaid projects and shot some portions as well, she had declined to be part of Chiru’s film,” says a source. Not so long ago, comedian turned hero Sunil too opted out of the film citing date issues and the role was later offered to Vennela Kishore. At a time when everything was going well for Chiranjeevi’s film, Anushka’s exit has pushed the makers into trouble, again.
