Sarveshwar Rao aka Sarva Mangalam (Srinivas Reddy) is a government employee in Kakinada Municipal office. His only aim is to get the transfer orders to his hometown near Kareemnagar. He believes that the goal will be achieved only by coming close to Rani (Poorna). He believes that Rani is his luck. Slowly, Sarveshwar Rao gets close to Rani but soon learns that Rani is interested in JC who is his superior officer. A heartbroken Sarvesh realises that JC is a bad man and saves Rani from him indirectly. The rest of the story is about Sarvesh winning his love.
Srinivas Reddy performance is a major highlight in the film. He has made his commercial debut into the film industry and hence it stood as a major highlight and we are sure that it will remain special as well as memorable for the actor. The entire film has been carried on the shoulders of Srinivas Reddy. Poorna is also impressive in the film. She has sported a traditional look in the movie and did complete justice for the film. The actors like Praveen, Krishna Bhagavan, Posani, Sri Vishnu, Jogi Brothers, Ravi Varma and Krishnudu were good in their respective roles and impressed us.
The honest story telling is missing in our films these days. We are unable to achieve such things in reality but finally we get to see one on big screen in the recent times in the form of Jayammu Nischayammu Raa. The film has Telugu nativity and with the tag of Desi Entertainment, the makers are successful to the majority part. Srinivas Reddy has a comedy image but the makers were successful in erasing the comedy image to the actor and that’s how they have given a new characterisation to the lead protagonist’s role.
Srinivas Reddy has lived in the character he played. He performed very well and we get to see only Sarvesh in the film and we easily forget Srinivas Reddy in the film. The duration of the film is a bit high. The makerscould have cut short some length to make it more appealing. Every single character in the film was given a justification in the movie. Every character is on the lines of a supporting the leads. The director tried to register almost every single character in the film. The chemistry between the lead pair also worked well.
Director Shiva Raj Kanumuri has a different taste and it was revealed in the film. The director has left his mark in the film and tried to make the audiences remember himself with his own style of film making. The story of the film is interesting but the length at which it has been narrated is a bit irking. The screenplay could have been much better. There are several unnecesary scenes in the first half of the film. They could have been chopped off easily. The cinematography, music and the nativity stands as highlights in the film. The production values are grand.
