Performance of Actors

Rajnikanth is ultra stylish in the old look. He did his best in satisfying the audience who came to watch the movie only for him. His style and acting in both young and old shades is exceptional. Radhika Apte’s performance is brilliant. The chemistry between Rajni and Radhika apte is good. Dhansika impressed everyone in a daring and tom boyish role. Winston Chao performed well in a settled role. Rest of the actors did their best in limited roles.

Tecnical Team Performance

Director PA Ranjith failed to use Rajnikanth to the fullest. Even the elevation scenes are not up to the mark. There are very few scenes which can get whistles. Cinematography by G Murali is decent. Music by Santhosh Narayan is top notch , especially the BGM which runs all over the movie. Editing by Praveen is mediocre. Production values of V creations are grand.

‘KORADA’ Take On Kabali

Kabali released with a hype like never before in south cinema. Director PA Ranjith tried to elevate the movie in two persprectives but failed in creating an impact in neither ways. Fans will watch the movie for Rajnikanth’s charishma and craze but there need to be some content which can excite them. There are only a few scenes of this kind. Pre climax fight is one of the highlight for the film. Kabali is more about emotional drama rather than a revenge drama. There is also a hidden message in the climax not to get habituated to the bad activities like being a gangster. The ending is abrupt , confusing and surprising. May be PA Ranjith is in plans of making a sequel for this film.
The flashback episode could have been much better. Scenes like Radhika apte requesting villains not to take of the suit of Rajni, Killing the villain are simple and silly. Editing should be crispy as the movie is slow and filled with many un necessary scenes. There is no proper justification and sync for some scenes. Only thing worked out well in the movie is the performance of lead cast and the emotional drama. There is nothing new or great to say about the revenge drama, very routine and predictable. On a whole you can watch kabali only to witness the charishma , style and screen presence of Thalaiva Rajnikanth. This film will end up as an average grosser at box office.
