Performance of Actors
Sunil has put an all round performance in the film. He impresses as a performer and also took an extra care to mesmerize the audiences even in Dances and Fights. The female lead Mannara Chopra is good in her role but she was limited only for dances and few romantic scenes. Except for that, she did not have any good scope. She danced well in the film. Kabir who played the antagonist in the film failed to impress as his role is too routine. Sapthagiri comedy worked in parts and the same is with Prudhvi. Prudhvi is seen imitating Balakrishna through out the film and it really appeared over. Rest of the actors made their presence felt and there is nothing more to discuss about them in particular.
‘KORADA’ Take On Jakkanna
The director of the film wanted to show Sunil in dual shaded role. Sunil was seen in an entertaining role in the film. At the same time, he tried to make a mark as action hero. Hence, there are so many action scenes in the film. The film followed the commercial formula perfectly. There are introduction scenes for hero and heroine, forced comedy, songs and fights which come and go without any purpose. The screenplay is too bad. This outdated concept is not going to work anymore in the film. The film fails miserably at certain point and it tests your patience from the beginning itself. The story has a good point.
The plot line was good but that was not made properly into a film. The story failed to turn as a good film. The screenplay is flat. There isnt any highlight scene in the film. Everything just proceeds. The entertainment in the film is forced and artificial. The director could have worked more on the film’s script. Even the comedy also worked in parts. It failed completely to bring some healthy laughs in the theatres. The run time is more and audiences were never involved in the film because of weak execution.
Bhavani Prasad, the film’s writer has shown his skills in penning the dialogues. But most of the dialogues sound like rhymes and this unnecessary stuff has been forcibly included in the film. The film failed in impressing the audiences in many points. The director completely failed in taking the film forward with an interesting screenplay. There isnt any drama and hence we literally get angry on the makers for showing us so many senseless, logic less scenes in the film. There are plenty of such scenes in the film. Jakkanna is neither interesting nor entertaining film and stands out as a big boring film in the recent times. The film leaves bad mark on Telugu film industry this year.
