Top 5 Flop Movies of Tollywood 2015

It’s time to say goodbye to 2015. The year has been a special one for Telugu cinema. Rajamouli introduced Tollywood to the world through his epic directorial Baahubali, the prestige of Indian cinema. Koratala Siva proved once again with his work Srimanthudu how a message oriented script could be directed as a commercial film. Krish, through Kanche, showed that a quality film can be made under low budget as well. Nani bagged super success with Bhale Bhale Magadivoy for the first time as a commercial hero. Mass movies like Bengal Tiger and small flicks like Raju Gari Gadi successfully entertained Tollywood audiences. Also there are a few films that turned bombs at box-office. Let us see top 5 utter flop films of 2015 and the reasons for their failure. Here is a special post-mortem report by korada.com on them.

Top-5 Soukyam

Soukyam Poster

Soukyam is the film that bagged totally negative response this year. It is not easy to say what is not great in the film. Not even half-an-hour duration of the film will be entertaining for audiences. This is like a lesson to debutant directors. Soukyam is an example to show how a film should not be made. Since it is not a high budgeted flick and output is evident in the trailer, audiences had not many expectations on Soukyam.

Top-4 Size Zero

5 reasons for failure of Size Zero

  1. Screenplay of Size Zero is a big zero.

  2. The story has scope for comedy and sentiment. Instead, it was made more like a documentary.

  3. Second half is like an advertisement of PVR Sports

  4. Unnecessary love track. Characters of Sonal Chauhan and Adivi Sesh block flow of the film.

  5. Director Prakash Kovelamudi, with the intention of scoring a hit, added unwanted elements to the film.
