Vijay Antony, the most happening actor of both kollywood and tollywood was praised for his movie Bichagadu. ‘Bichagadu’ stood as one of the best box-office collectors of the season. Hence, the movie Saithan (Tamil) or Bethaludu (Telugu) is being the most awaited movie. Here is the review of the movie..
Dinesh (Vijay Antony) is a normal man, with a loving family. Being a software employee, his life was a fair one, with a fair salary, a beautiful house to live in. The real struggle for Dinesh starts after ten days of his wedding with Aishwarya. He hears eerie noises calling the name ‘Jayalakshmi’. Since then, he tries to kill himself and also attempts to murder his wife. Who exactly is this Jayalakshmi? Why is Dinesh haunted? To find out the answers, watch the movie in theaters.
Director Pradeep Krishna Murthy who has extracted the main crux of the story from Hollywood’s ‘Lucy’, has failed to execute the concept well. Unclear narration will leave the audience with unanswered questions.
The song ‘Jayalakakshmi’ haunts the audience. Music by Vijay Antony is just okay. Pradeep Kali Putharen’s Cinematography is fine. The audience who expect for some kind of thrill, are kept waiting until they find out that there is nothing of such kind. The director has tried to convey something, which he ends abruptly.
Vijay Antony’s action.
Vijay has performed very well in the role of a psychologically haunted person.
The thrill which carries us away and keeps us speculating.
Most of the things are unclear.
The director seems to have ended the movie without any clarity.
‘Bethaludu’ being a psychological thriller, is a badly executed movie with so many questions unanswered. With the mediocre graphics, there are some thrilling streaks, but on a whole, the movie is a little boring.
